Sambazon Organic Acai Juice: Original Blend

Sambazon Acai Juice
Sambazon Acai is one of the first companies to bring acai berry fruit juice to the United States. The Açai berry, is one of those fruits that still has near mythical status, despite the fact that it's been widely available in the states for several years. Acai is pronounced ah-sigh-ee and is also known as the purple berry because of it's deep purple color. To make the inka beverage, you're supposed to use one heaping teaspoon of the powder, mixed with boiling water or milk. I tried it with water, and the inka coffee that resulted was suprisingly black, with a white and brown foam. It does taste like a very weak coffee, but maybe that's just because of the similarity in making it, and how it's known as a coffee substitute. Read More >
