Four Loko Alcoholic Energy Drink Review
I think nearly everyone has heard of Four Loko by now. It's been all over the news, and banned in several states for sending many people to the hospital. This is prime territory for adventurous drinkers (see spike shooter) -- I had to see what all the fuss was about.
Cascal Naturally Fermented Soda
Cascal was one of the first booths that caught my eye at the 2010 Boston vegetarian festival. Come to think of it, I'm not sure I know of many non-vegetarian drinks (unless you count drinks made with eggs or milk), but that's beside the point. Amjera Thandai: Saffron Pistachio Milkshake
This is another find from the Vegetarian Festival in Boston. My friends dragged me over to the booth where they were handing out samples, "It's sooo good. You have to try this one." The rest of the drinks from this company, Ajmera Innovations, were good but not really that interesting. The saffron pistachio flavor really stood out as a unique flavor combination, especially for a drink.
